Dear Lord,
Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me.
Help me to live and communicate truth in the power of Your grace.
Help me to know how to listen & when to speak, what to say, how to say it.
And Lord, when I've said enough, help me shut my mouth.
May I season my words with just the right amount of salt, for someday I just may have to eat them.
Help me to know love and show love, mercy, and kindness.
And as far as it depends on me, may I be at peace with all men at the end each of the day.
Keep my eyes fixed on You, Lord, for I know not the day nor the hour of your return.
May I live my life for the honor and glory of Your name and reputation, not my own.
