Meet The Muser
![]() Hi, I'm Marsha, and I like hats, so I wear lots of them. . . literally. I've been known to wear pearls while hiking, tiaras and boas while speaking, and I've even been seen blowing bubbles at a tea party. Okay, and I like to dance. . . in a tutu. . . at Zumba. I met Mike while we were students at Florida Bible College, and we've been married since 1974. We have three adult children and eight grandchildren. I was born in Pennsylvania, but I've lived most of my life in the South. During this season of life, I'm blessed to have the Smoky Mountains in view from my front porch here in Tennessee. I commute weekly to our ministry in the Snowbird community of Graham County, NC where I'm a counselor specializing in women and children, and grief counseling. We're in the process of beginning a retreat ministry and helping with getting a new church on its feet. We also lead small, intimate retreats at our ministry location in NC and we're helping getting a new church up on its feet. I'm a retreat and conference speaker - both stateside and internationally, a published author, writer, editor, blogger, and co-host of Grace Cafe Radio (on hiatus). The summer of 2016 I added breast cancer survivor to my bio. I'm passionate about inspiring women to become the woman of grace God designed them to be, my family, coffee and tea, photography and walks in the woods. About Marsha's MusingsInspiring and encouraging women I'm so glad you stopped by! Here's a little background on Marsha's Musings.
I blogged nearly daily from 2007 to mid 2012. At that point I was spending more time writing on Facebook than my blog, so I retired the blog, set it to private, and moved on for about two years. At that point I began to think about starting fresh, but still keep it simple - (Wordpress intimidates me! LOL). January of 2015 I began blogging again using my same domain name, but moved it from Blogger to Weebly. I invite you to check out each page and join in on the conversations. I took the summer of 2016 off to recover from breast cancer surgery and treatment. I hope to begin posting on a regular basis in 2017. The Simply Grace page speaks grace into lives and healing those broken places. It's about exploring the basics of Who our Savior is, the depth of His love for us, and His life-changing gift. You will find Sabbath Blessings here and words to help heal the broken places. This is a place of rest and restoration. Hopefully, you will come away refreshed. You can read more about Why Simply Grace here. You can find me daily on my Facebook page, Marsha's Musings. Message the MuserIf you would like to contact me privately about speaking at an event you can contact me here. Do you need someone to pray with/for you or just need to have a chat with an older woman (me!)? Please feel contact me anytime. I'm here for you. It's all grace.
