Lord, I begin my day by declaring You are God and I am not. You are from everlasting to everlasting. No matter how many mountaintop experiences I may have, or how low my valleys may be, You are there, and I safely dwell in You. The view from the mountaintop appears to go on forever, and yet there is a horizon I can not see beyond...and you are there. Thank You, God, that I can safely trust in You always.

Whatever challenge you may be facing today, I pray the Lord will bless you, keep you safe, and give you great peace. We have a good, good Father who will never leave us nor forsake us. When the storms of life dump events on us that can freeze us in our tracks, remember that the nearness of God is our good and we can take refuge in Him. (Psalm 73:28)
In every season, we can trust Him. When an icy grip attempts to engulf us. . . we can trust Him. This journey through life will sometimes have blue skies, other times it will have its perils. Life is uncertain. . . downright fearful at times. In our finiteness, we can't see around the next bend, but our all-knowing, infinite God can. Trust Him, not your own limited line of vision, to direct your path. Trusting in the Lord moves us from the driver's seat of our life to the passenger seat. Relax. . . breathe. . . there's beauty to behold in every season of life. #JoyInTheJourney #Trust #Breathe
What is attempting to engulf you today, sweet friend? How might I pray with/for you today? |
