Mornings....we take off full steam ahead, charging into our "to do" list. When we get caught up in life we miss the Giver of Life Himself. He's ever present, not just when we want to strike up a conversation with Him. This week, I'd like to encourage you to take the time to stop, look, and listen. He's wanting to say something to you. He speaks to us in the simplest of ways. Don't miss the opportunity to hear His message to you. And remember to say Thank You.
I've also taken the time to stop, look, and listen to the beautiful lake that's just a block away from our home. We have a serene view of the mountains and the lake from our front porch. Don't you want to come and join me for some iced tea on the porch?
To stop, look, and listen is one of the helpful techniques I use to be aware of things around me to be thankful for. Have you developed a way to consistently record what you're thankful for? I'd like to share with you a free download I've developed for recording Reflections of Thanks. Feel free to download and print it out to use this week to help you stop, look, and listen for Him in the ordinary activity of your day. There are 7 thought bubbles, one for each day of the week, and hopefully enough space for you to write down a word or two that describes what you are thankful for.
And what are you thankful for this week? Grab a button from the sidebar, pin it to your post, then come back here and sign up using the Linky below. Please put the direct link to your Thankful Thursday post. The Link Up will be LIVE until Monday morning. Be sure to visit the person who linked up before you and comment on their post. And, of course, you are more than welcome to visit as many others in the community as you have time. We're using a different Linky service this week. I didn't realize I would have to pay for this service so I changed over to a free one. Unfortunately, we lost all our links from last month. :( God knows. We'll start off fresh here in June!

Beautiful photo and words. Yes, I'd love to look out over the mountains and water with iced tea or hot coffee :) The clouds have been beautiful lately. I'm a cloud watcher too.

Wow, that mountain pic is absolutely gorgeous! I've been so busy these past two weeks, I'm sorry I didn't comment sooner. One reason I'm so thankful for this link up is that if I post nothing else in a week, I am sure to link up here. I really appreciate you putting this together and inviting us to share in our gratitude. We can never STOP, LOOK and LISTEN enough to behold all the blessings He's granted us!
